Mikayla, my wonderful daughter. I will never truly be able to put into words how special you are to me and how much you have come to mean to me in my life. Fathers will always worry about their daughters no matter how old they get and that is certainly the case with you because you will always be my little girl. I think a father's biggest fear is hoping that his child will always be taken care of and then trusting someone else to do this. I guess this is where you come in Kenyon because I think my daughter has chosen someone that sees just how special she truly is and is willing to be her partner in life. Wish you both all of the happiness there is in life!

Rather than filling this space with a long-winded attempt at something poetic, which is my predilection, I simply wish to say my thanks to a young man and woman who have blessed our family with the strength of numbers through an act of love, and more importantly, opened a door of exploration into a life together as their own family. It should not escape anyone as to how truly powerful such things are.

Well, what the hell can I say about Kenyon? Kenyon is a man of many talents, which include: The ability to sleep for 14 hours straight purely on the justification of “just because” The ability to charm those around him by saying absolutely nothing. Being late every day for our first-period class senior year and NEVER offered any justification, yet NEVER suffered any repercussions. Charming lad. Silent killer. Sweg. And many more!
