Glensheen Mansion
Glensheen, the Historic Congdon Estate, is a 20,000 square foot mansion in Duluth, Minnesota, operated by the University of Minnesota Duluth as a historic house museum. Glensheen is one of Mikayla's favorite places in Duluth and she has an annual pass to prove it!
Duluth Lake Walk
The walkway can be entered at any point by Superior Street. Jake and Mikayla recommend starting at the Lift Bridge and ending at the Portland Malt Shop!
Great Lakes Aquarium
The aquarium inspires guests to explore animals and habitats from the Great Lakes Basin and global waters.
Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center
This is a great place to get an exceptional view of the lake. Also, there are lots of fun and unique photo opportunities in this area. If you plan your time right, you might just see a very large ship come through! It's a very cool experience!
Vista Fleet SIghtseeing & Dinning Cruises
No trip to Duluth is complete without experiencing the majestic beauty of Lake Superior aboard one of the boats in the Vista Fleet! There are a variety of cruises for all ages and is fun for everyone.
Duluth Children's Museum
Navigate an oar boat through the Duluth Canal. Dig up dinosaur bones. Experiment with kinetic sand. Imaginations can wander endlessly and children can learn extensively.
Split Rock Lighthouse
One of the best-preserved and most visited lighthouses in the country. Guided tours of the light station, exhibits, film, and museum store. It's located about 45 miles up the North Shore.
Gooseberry Falls State Park
This popular North Shore park features spectacular waterfalls, scenic overlooks, a wonderful visitor center and superb trout fishing. Be sure to take in an interpretive program to learn more about the history, geology and wildlife of the North Shore.
Bent Paddle Brewing Co.
Bent Paddle is a 30 barrel, craft production brewery. They offer tours as well as samples of their products.

Little Angie's Cantina in Canal Park
The kind of place where the food is so fresh it's sizzling at your table. Signature items include fajitas, burritos, enchiladas, and chimichangas. If it's warm out, come sit on their deck and take in the views.
Portland Malt Shoppe
This is a favorite spot of Mikayla's family every time they visit Duluth! Highly recommended!! Jake and Mikayla like to walk along the boardwalk after getting this delicious treat. Just a heads up - they only accept cash!
Pizza Luce
Pizza Luce is a local pizzeria chain that serves creative pies, pasta and hoagies, plus beer and wine, in a casual setting. This restaurant is within walking distance of our wedding venue! Definitely worth checking out!
Electric Fetus Duluth
Super fun record shop to visit! Electric Fetus is right across from Pizza Luce and on the same street as our wedding venue!
