We met as co-workers in June of 2017, a few months after Mikayla had moved from Washington to Las Vegas. It didn't take long for us to become close. We had an instant bond that soon turned into much more than friendship. On October 7th, 2017, we made it official. From the moment we met, we have always pushed each other towards our goals. We started off as teammates, in a work sense, but it became our way of life. We became family, living together, supporting each others dreams, and seeing each other achieve huge life milestones. We have grown a lot together and have helped each other become the people we are proud to be today. Though our hearts were committed to each other from the beginning, it was on our 6 year anniversary trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico that Izzy got down on one knee and proposed. As luck would have it, the rain postponed the engagement by a day, making October 8th, 2023 the day Mikayla said YES! The private sunset dinner on the beach, the bonfire at night, and the vacation overall will live in our minds forever. It was a serene and timeless escape. Because of this and our love for travel, we would like to share a similar experience with our friends and family on our big day. We have decided to host a destination wedding and would be honored by your attendance. While we would love for all of you to be there, we understand that not everyone may be able to attend. Regardless, please know how excited we are to have shared our love story with you and how thankful we are for the roles you play in our lives and relationship. Your love and support is all that is all we could ever ask for.
