Question

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible, but no later than January 15, 2026.

Question

What is the weather like?

Answer

Manuel Antonio is located in a coastal rainforest. May through November is the 'green' season, when the forests are bursting with flowers and wildlife. Plan on warm sunny mornings perfect for exploring, and frequent afternoon showers. Temperatures typically range from the mid-70s to mid-80s °F, so light, breathable clothing is ideal.

Question

What should I bring to Manuel Antonio?

Answer

Manuel Antonio is a beach AND rainforest destination, so prepare for both. A pair of sandals and a pair of hiking shoes or sneakers will be helpful. Overall, Costa Rica is a very casual country, so you don’t need to over-pack. Light, comfortable clothing and basics like sunscreen and bug spray should do the trick! And then of course an outfit for the wedding/welcome drinks!

Question

Can I drink the water?

Answer

Yes, the water in Costa Rica is generally considered safe to drink. If you have a very sensitive system, or are concerned that something could disagree with you, you can play it safe with bottled water.

Question

Can I use U.S. Currency?

Answer

The U.S. dollar is widely used in Manuel Antonio, as are credit cards, given it is a very popular tourist destination.

Question

What should I know before booking a taxi in Costa Rica?

Answer

The biggest piece of advice is to always make sure to only ride with registered Costa Rican taxi drivers. It is not unusual for several people to ask you at the airport if you need a taxi. Unfortunately, some of these people are not legal taxi drivers and will overcharge you. You can always recognize official Costa Rican taxis because they are all red vehicles with a yellow triangle on the roof, driver’s side door, and front passenger side door. This yellow triangle contains their official taxi number.

Question

What travel documents are needed to visit Costa Rica?

Answer

Passports - Ensure you have a valid passport for the duration of your stay. Immigration may deny your entry if the passport is damaged. Visa - A visa is not required for stays less than 180 days. But a return ticket is required.

Question

What time is it in Costa Rica?

Answer

Costa Rica observes Central Standard Time (CST) all year. There are no daylight savings time changes.

Question

Question
