When we were little Mikayla was the youngest girl cousin that we let hang out with us— that is until she would inevitably snitch on us for something and we’d kick her out of the room we were in. We weren’t that bad I promise! But we were all raised differently and what’s beautiful about that and the family dynamics we’ve nurtured is through our differences we can all still connect like no time has passed and look back on these memories fondly. These moments from our childhood capture exactly who Mikayla is bold, honest, and doing things her own way!

I've known Mikayla since 2010 and each year has been one crazy adventure after another! From Teen Wolf Mondays, to bike rides after school, multiple beach trips, and endless summer nights taking the most cringiest pictures thinking we were really those girls! Each memory holds such a special place in my heart that solidified our bond more and more as the years went on. Kayla has always been the big sister I have always dreamed of. Willing to ride or die for me in any and every situation. It was only right that she was named the God mother of my daughter! She has so much love in her heart and compassion for others that makes her one of the greatest human beings to walk this Earth! God knew what he was doing when he made her!

Mikayla and I met during my freshman year of high school at St. Mary’s at my very first cheerleading practice, and I knew right away we would click. Her bubbly personality and contagious laugh made her impossible not to love, and I felt like I’d found someone who just got me. We bonded over sign language class, cheer camps, and sneaking off campus for lunch, sharing so many laughs and inside jokes along the way. Over the years, we’ve been through so much together—late-night talks, celebrating each other’s wins, and supporting each other through challenges. She has this incredible way of lifting everyone around her, making even the simplest moments feel special. I honestly don’t know what I’d do without her. Mikayla isn’t just my friend—she’s family, my cheer buddy for life, and someone I’m endlessly grateful to have by my side. I can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes her & Cam.

My favorite memory of us. Wowza, there are too many good ones to choose from over the past 20 years. The first one to pop into my head is the one where you and your dad came to pick me up, and we went to the mall right before it was closing. Somehow you convinced your dad to buy you a new phone. We were so excited that we started doing cartwheels throughout the mall! 🤸🏼♀️🤸🏾♂️ Another one was when we were making waffles and dancing on the kitchen counter at the hidden lake house! Those were the days. One of my other favorites is when we were roomies in IV and I went to the beach because I wasn’t having the best day. When I was leaving, I came up the stairs, and who did I find? The lovely mika standing there watching the sunset. I truly can’t pick a favorite. They’re all too good. I know my next favorite will be watching you walk down the aisle to the man of your dreams 🥹 Iflu to the lou BGFL love you ride or die!

To my kind hearted, selfless, beautiful friend... I am beyond happy for you and this incredible journey you're about to embark on. From the moment I met you, we were already planning this day... even before the man entered the picture. We've shared so many memories that it's hard to choose a favorite, from late night Cold Stone runs to the days when you were terrified to drive on the freeway. Through it all, you've been my constant, my safe place, and my best friend. I truly don't know what I'd do without you, and l feel so blessed to stand by you as you begin this next chapter of your life.

My dear friend Mikayla. We met early into adulthood at BGC of course and shared a desire to get out in the world and find ourselves . We instantly connected and I’ve always admired your ability to accomplish your well planned out goals (not dreams) ! You know what you want and get after it ! I love u for that ! We’ve had many memorable moments but my favorites are when we are living free spirited in the car, shades on and laughs and story time are top priority.
