Our story began in a sunny college beach town in Santa Barbara. Mikayla was her carefree, silly self barefoot on the sand when we met. We hit it off instantly, talking and laughing like we had known each other forever. After hanging out once, we just… never really left each other’s side. Life threw its challenges our way, but we faced every one of them together. From spending nearly every day together in Santa Barbara, to moving back home and cherishing weekends together, we made it work. Then COVID hit, and suddenly we went almost a full year without seeing each other in person. Countless FaceTime calls, shared shows, and long-distance love kept us going. Eventually, we moved in together and the “real world” followed quickly. For a few years, we worked opposite shifts, passing each other like ships in the night. Even then, we made it work. Every step of the way, our love only grew stronger. And now, we can’t wait to start this next chapter, surrounded by the people who mean the most to us.
