Why March 19th?

Answer

We wanted our marriage to occur on a day that is equally significant and meaningful for us. March 19th, 2021 will be our 7th anniversary as a couple.

It's so far! Why Julian/San Diego?

Answer

Well, the short answer is, Mikayla found the venue online and fell in love! Then, we took a virtual tour together, Brandon also fell in love too, and that was that. It also has a nice intimate feeling and rustic vibes.

Will there be social distancing?

Answer

Although we cannot guarantee anything, much of the venue is outdoors with plenty of space to social distance. All vendors will be wearing PPE. We are not requiring guests to wear masks, but you may wear one if you would like, along with any other PPE you desire. Ceremony chairs and dinner tables will be placed at appropriate distances, and seating arrangements will be designed with care so that there will not be excessive intermingling between different households.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

We are expecting it to be pretty cold. We looked at the highs and lows of Julian on the date of March 19th for the past few years. Record high is in the 60s while record low is snowing. There will be space heaters and an indoor space to retreat to. However, we recommend checking the weather prior to traveling and ensuring to bring a jacket or blanket regardless!
