Funny story - We actually met on Tindr, while both of us were living across the country from each other. Lincoln was in grad school for archaeology in New Mexico and I was in undergrad for biology in Minnesota. We matched while Lincoln was driving through Minnesota to visit his family in Wisconsin - total chance! We talked long distance with Skype calls, finally meeting on February 5, 2016, when we decided to date! Since then, we have traveled across the country together and have lived together in both Minnesota and New Mexico. Lincoln proposed on December 27, 2019 at Middleton Place Plantation in South Carolina on a bench under a beautiful old live oak tree. The photo above is actually from our proposal day at Middleton! Our favorite things to do together are to travel, try new restaurants, cook together, have fancy tea parties, go thrift store and antique shopping, watch futurama, and play skyrim (our pandemic hobby).
