Our first "dates" together. Shawn came up to visit Spokane after we had talked long distance for 3 months. October 2017

During the first COVID-19 lockdown we lived with a group of friends and commonly tried to come up with fun activities to do, one of which was a COVID prom! April 2020.

COVID times also included many graduations, virtually, in person, and with just family in the park! September 2020

Shortly after we moved in together, we found (in our opinion) the best dog in the world, our sweet Pualena, Pua for short. July 2020

Our first time exploring all the wonderful lakes in our area. We found a tiny house on Lake Pend Oreille and had a great time, hiking, kayaking, and "glamping". June 2021

Our first apartment was only 450 sqft, needless to say, Pua was very happy when moved into a bigger spot. August 2021

Our favorite vacations are road trips that lead to family and friends. July 2021

Shortly before moving in together, Shawn had Mikaela start reading the Harry Potter books. Once we finished the books we made it to Universal Studios with family. July 2021

When it snows, it's a tradition for us to either go sledding or build a snowman as soon as possible. Pua never fights us making her go out in the snow! January 2022

If it's nice outside, there's a very high chance that you'll find us golfing. July 2022

We got engaged on January 9th, 2023. Mikaela thought she was surprising Shawn with a whole family happy birthday call. Turns out Mikaela was the one being surprised!

A few months after getting engaged, we headed to the Oregon coast to celebrate with our friends Claire and Nate (who also just got engaged!). This was also Pua's first time at the beach! April 2023
