Matthew Fields Keller
Groom
Matthew grew up outside of San Antonio in Lytle, Texas and attended Medina Valley, a grade above Mikaela. His parents, Adam and Heather, raised him to be a gentleman and work hard. He grew up on a farm with his older brother Zach and younger sister Alicia. Matt loves taking his two dogs, Zoey and Aly, to the park or the beach to run around. He pursued his Medical Assistant degree after high school and worked in several urgent care and wound care centers. Matt left the great state of Texas and moved up to the Washington, DC area to be with his future wife in the Fall of 2019. He now works from home charting telemedicine visits through his prior job in Maryland at an urgent care facility. Matt is currently in the process of enlisting in the US Armed Forces.
Mikaela Joy Zabel
Bride
Mikaela grew up in San Antonio and attended the same high school as Matthew, Medina Valley. Her parents, Tom and Karen Zabel moved them out in the countryside near Medina Lake. Her two older brothers, Nathan and Ian, are both married and have 5 children all together making Mikaela an aunt to 4 nieces and 1 nephew. Mikaela adopted her first pet, a black cat by the name of Ella, shortly before meeting Matthew in April 2018. Matt has known her since she was a kitten! Mikaela attended UTSA for four years to earn her Bachelor's in Cyber Security. She accepted a job in the Washington, DC area to pursue her career. She shipped up her life with Ella and moved into an apartment near her work. Matt couldn't be apart from them for too long and drove up there to live together only a few months later.
Christopher Haby
Best Man
Chris and Matt have grown up together and known each other since they were kids. They've been getting into trouble together since they were young teenagers! Chris chose Matt as his Best Man for his wedding in 2018, and that's how he met his future wife, Mikaela, as she was the Maid of Honor. Matt, Mikaela, Chris, and Melanie are all close friends and double date all the time! Chris is a black hawk pilot in the United States Army and is currently stationed at Ft. Bliss in El Paso, Texas. Chris and Melanie are expecting their first baby girl in January of 2022. They have two dogs and two cats, and a baby on the way will make for a full house!

Matron of Honor
Melanie and Mikaela have been best friends since their middle school days at Medina Valley. Melanie and her husband Chris chose Mikaela and Matt to be their Maid of Honor and Best Man at their wedding in 2018 which is how they met and fell in love. Melanie is a very valuable person in Mikaela's life and can't wait to have her stand by her side on her wedding day just as she did for hers. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Exercise Sports Science at St. Mary's University in 2018 and now works as an RBT, Registered Behavioral Technician. Melanie and Chris are expecting their first baby girl in January of 2022. They have two dogs and two cats, and a baby on the way will make for a full house!

He is my older brother, and he works for our dad's construction company, Keller Enterprises. He loves to go to Corpus to fish and play in the sand.

Sister-in-law to the Bride, married to Ian, and mother of Brooklyn and Liam. She served in the US Navy and is now an IT contractor.

Jake and I have been good friends since middle school and we always catch up when I visit from Maryland. He is currently working as an engineer at RESPEC.

Sister-in-law to the Bride, married to Nathan, and mother of Peyton, Hayden, and Tristan. She's your local, neighborhood hairdresser and makes all sorts of crafts with her cricut and acrylic machines! So talented!

Wesley and I met in middle school and stayed good friends to this day. He is currently working as a welder machinist for CPS Energy.

Best Friend to the Bride, met working retail in 2016! She's earning her Master's in Counseling at LaTourneau University.

Gavin and I became friends in high school. Gavin is the crew chief at Snider Motor Sports in Castroville where he works hard and plays harder.

Aaron serves as the lead pastor at Compass Church located in Helotes. He's been a close family friend for years, and he also officiated the bride's brother Ian's and Destiny's wedding in 2018.
