    Have Questions?

Have Questions?

Question

Are you allowing kids at the wedding?

Answer

While we LOVE your little ones, we have decided to have an adult only wedding with exception to the children in the wedding party. We hope that this does not hinder you from coming to celebrate with us and that you see it is as an opportunity for a Florida weekend getaway.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to our wedding being an intimate celebration, we are not allowing plus ones unless you are married or engaged at the time of invite or we have expressed to you otherwise.

Question

Is there a dress code?!

Answer

Who wouldn't want a reason to get all dressed up?! We are asking guests to come dress in Semi-Formal to Formal attire! So for the ladies, think fancy cocktail or floor length dresses, and gentlemen think suit and tie, sports coat, or tux.

Question

Are there any COVID restrictions?

Answer

Florida is 100% open which means that, as of now, you will not be required to wear a mask in most places. Nor will you be asked to show proof of vaccination. Likewise, for our wedding, we will not be enforcing masks or vaccinations to celebrate with us and ask that each person considers the risk before attending. We strongly ask you to stay home if you are feeling sick or experiencing COVID symptoms.

Question

Will there be Transportation from the Host Hotel to the Venue?

Answer

Unfortunately not, however, we tried to pick the nicest hotel closest to the venue to make our hotel block so it will be a quick uber over to the venue.

Question

Where is your registry?

Answer

We have decided that what would bless us most is contributing to our honeymoon fund, which will be posted soon. However, we will also have a registry posted closer to the wedding for those who would rather gift us that way :)

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Around the end of September, the weather is starting to cool down but is still on the warmer side. Typically temperatures range from 75°F to 86°F and is rarely below 72°F or above 90°F around that time of year. Prepare for the humidity of being on the coast and possible rain as Miami does rain often. But let's be in prayer for a beautiful and sunny wedding day!

Question

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be at the Vista Lago Ballroom.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors off of a lake and fountain! The reception will be held indoors in the ballroom!

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Following the ceremony, there will be a cocktail hour with appetizers while the wedding party and family takes photos. After cocktail hour, we will start the reception.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

Well first off, you are so loved and will be missed. While we would love to celebrate with you, we do understand that life happens. So please let us know, as soon as you know, that you can't make it so we can prepare accordingly. We are also planning on live streaming our ceremony, so we can give you the link for that if interested!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive to the venue no later than 5:45pm on September 27th. The wedding ceremony will start promptly at 6pm.

Question

Will Dinner and Drinks Be Provided?

Answer

Yes! We will have appetizers during cocktail hour, dinner and drinks!

For all the days along the way
