FAQs

Question

Is alcohol being served? / Allowed to bring alcohol?

Answer

We’ve chosen to host an alcohol-free celebration. Instead, we’ll have a coffee bar along with juices and a variety of other non-alcoholic beverages. We can’t wait to celebrate together with great drinks and even better company. Our venue also does not allow alcohol to be self-served during the event, and guests may not bring their own alcohol (no BYOB). For those who would like to enjoy a drink, there is a bar located just 5 minutes away from the venue. We kindly ask that all guests respect the venue’s policies while celebrating with us.

Question

Can we take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will be phone-free. We’ve hired a professional photographer who will capture every special moment, so we invite our guests to be fully present and kindly keep their phones away.

Question

Can I still attend if I did not RSVP by June 1?

Answer

We kindly ask you not to show up if you did not RSVP by June 1st, unless otherwise stated. We have set dates far enough in advance to try to accommodate everyone. Please respect these dates and reply accordingly.

Question

Is there a theme or dress code?

Answer

Our celebration will feature a rustic, woodsy theme with a palette of greens and warm autumn tones. Guests are welcome to dress in any style they prefer; attire is flexible and casual. We just ask that attire remains modest and that guests avoid wearing white.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Upon submitting your RSVP, the number of guests included in your party will be indicated. If a plus-one or children have been invited, those options will be available. We appreciate your understanding and respect for our guest list.

Question

Is there a seating chart?

Answer

No, feel free to sit wherever is most comfortable.

Question

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place outdoors, so we encourage guests to dress appropriately for the weather. The reception will also be outdoors, with the option of a white tent, if conditions require it.

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes, the lodge has free parking onsite!

Question

What food will be served?

Answer

Since our wedding will be in the morning, we will be serving brunch-type foods. There will be a coffee and juice bar available. After the ceremony, during "cocktail hour," we will have muffins and beverages available to snack on.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Yes! Our registry is linked on our website. You can find it on the ‘Registry’ page— we’re registered through Zola and Amazon!

Question

What if I need to change my RSVP?

Answer

Please reach out to the bride, Ava Santiago, at 916-477-8177 and she can adjust it for you.

Question

Can I post photos on social media?

Answer

Absolutely! Please feel free to post photos before or after the ceremony, but we kindly ask that phones stay away during the ceremony.

Question

Can I give a toast?

Answer

We’ll have a special moment for toasts during the reception. Those who are scheduled will go first, and then the floor will be open for anyone else who would like to say a few words.
