Do you have a hotel room block?

Answer

Yes we do. You can find this information under the "Travel" tab on our website. Otherwise, we have booked rooms at the Holiday Inn in Rochelle as well as the Comfort Inn in Rochelle. Just call and request a room at either place for our Group Discount under the Mielke-Hudson Wedding.

When are the RSVPs due?

Answer

We hope you can make it! Please RSVP by October 25, 2019 using the RSVP card you received with the invitation!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We hope our wedding will be an excuse to wear your favorite cocktail attire!

Any other attire notes we should be aware of?

Answer

November is clearly an unpredictable month in the Midwest. Our ceremony and reception location are both heated and should be adequately heated for the wedding day events, but we would suggest bringing a jacket incase you get cold!

Is there parking available?

Answer

There is parking available. There will also be a shuttle service available (free of charge to our guests) for those longer distance parking spots at our reception venue.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

In order to keep our guest list on track we were only able to accommodate those guests who were formally invited on your wedding invitation. Please feel free to contact us with any questions!

Will there be transportation from the ceremony to the hotel(s)?

Answer

All our wedding day events are in Rochelle, so everything is just a short distance away. We have arranged for transportation for parking at the reception but will not have a shuttle service provided to the hotels from the reception OR from the ceremony to the reception. Please accommodate accordingly and have fun responsibly ;)

Will there be food and drinks served?

Answer

Do you know us?! Of course there will be! We will have light appetizers and a cocktail hour before a full buffet service will be provided for our dinner.

Where are you registered?

Answer

On our wedding website if you go to the “registry” page you can find links to our registries under the “Other Registries” tab. You can also travel out to the sites on your own and search our names. We are registered at - Bed Bath and Beyond, Amazon, Target, and Crate and Barrel.

You can email us through our wedding website. Also, feel free to call or text our personal phones if you have those contact numbers as well.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We kindly as that you refrain from taking pictures during our ceremony. We'd really appreciate an "unplugged" wedding meaning please leave your cell phones and electronic devices in your car, purse, pocket, etc. We have hired really awesome photographers to capture our day that we will love to share with you all after the wedding! So please, leave your electronic devices tucked away so that we can all enjoy being in the moment together during this special day.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive to the events 10-15 minutes early to get situated and we can be sure that we can get started on time.
