Please email Sarah at folkenwolf@gmail.com to let us know if you can attend. Let us know the number of your party - feel free to bring a plus one and children if you have them! Please also let us know if you have any dietary restrictions.
The theme of our celebration is "Midsummer in Hobbiton." We would like everyone to come dressed however you would to attend a party in the Shire - elves, dwarves, Rohirrim, and of course hobbits are all invited. Think medieval fantasy, renaissance festival, or cottage core. Be as whimsical as you like! We welcome elf ears, fairy wings, leather armor, hobbit waistcoats, etc. If a floral sundress or a simple linen shirt are more your jam, that's fine too. Please no suits - if it is something you could wear to a job interview, leave it at home (unless it were a job interview for a renfaire). The ceremony and reception take place outdoors on grass. There will be tents in case of rain, but the ground could be muddy. **Plan footwear accordingly!** We suggest no heels and no nice leather dress shoes you'd hate to get mud on. Here are some good sites for outfit inspiration. Don't feel as though you need to purchase anything expensive, though! Many things like this can be put together from thrift store finds! https://renaissancewardrobe.com https://holyclothing.com https://verillas.com https://www.linennaive.com
