As guests arrive, there will be a charcuterie table available and the pub will be open. Grab a drink and a bite to eat as you wait for the ceremony to start! Parking at the Fern Hollow Nature Center is limited. Please carpool as much as possible. We will also be hiring a shuttle service from the Fairfield Inn & Suites Neville Island to the Fern Hollow Nature Center and back again at the end of the reception. Please dress for a warm, outdoors party with grassy footing. Dress to attend a party in Hobbiton - think medieval fantasy, renaissance festival, or cottage core. Be as whimsical as you like! Please no suits - if it is something you could wear to a job interview, leave it at home. Better to leave high heels at home too - they would just stick in the grass (and possibly mud). The reception will be a BBQ dinner set out buffet style - pulled chicken and pork sandwiches with sauce options, cole slaw, cheesy baked potato, green beans, and pasta salad. In addition to lemonade and iced tea served at the buffet, there will also be an Irish pub offering beer and cider on draft and pitchers of Jordan's favorite summer drink - sangria! If anyone in your party has dietary restrictions, please let us know when you email Sarah at folkenwolf@gmail.com to RSVP. We want everyone to enjoy the feast! After food and drinks and cake, there will be games, dancing, a bonfire, and smores! If you can stay till sundown, we highly suggest it. The fields around the nature center are one of the best places in Sewickley to see a magnificent show of fireflies!
