When do I need to RSVP by?

Question

Are there any hotels that have room blocks for guests?

Answer

No, there are no blocks. We have listed close by hotels in the "travel" tab. If you are looking to book together with other family or friends I recommend booking the hotel, airBnb, or other at the same time.

Parking at The McCreery House

Answer

Guests will park at the Community of Christ Church parking lot and walk over to the wedding venue. There should be plenty of parking for all in this designated lot, however we highly recommend getting an Uber or a Lyft if you plan on consuming any alcohol. We will be providing an open bar.

Where will I go when I get to the venue?

Answer

Once you park, you will enter the venue through the front gate of the garden and enter into the yard. There will be signs pointing you in the right direction!

What is the schedule on the day of the wedding?

Answer

4:00 pm: Guests arrive at The McCreery House 4:30 pm: Ceremony Starts 5:00 pm: Cocktail hour 6:00 pm: Dinner starts 6:45 pm: Dessert! 7:00 pm: Lets hit the dance floor! 9:00 pm: Wedding party is over :( 9:15 pm: Continue the party at Kendall and Micks Airbnb!

What can I expect from the weather in October in Colorado?

Answer

Weather can change in an instant! We have experienced mild weather in early October in past years. There is always a chance of inclement weather here. Come prepared with warmer clothes just in case! The wedding itself is all outside. We will have some propane heaters at the venue, as well as you can be inside the house to warm up if you need. If rain is forecasted for the week of the wedding we will be prepared with large tents for coverage. There will be places to store extra coats or belongings.

What happens after the ceremony?

The Newlyweds will leave to take pictures and sign their wedding documents and until they return the guest will stay in the garden area where small snacks and drinks will be available.

Will I need to bring money with me to the wedding for the bar?

Answer

Nope! Drinks are on us!! PLEASE BRING YOUR I.D. We will have a few signature cocktails, beer, wine, and mocktails :) Water, tea, and lemonade will also be available. We highly encourage tipping the bartending staff. The drinks may be on us, but the hangover is on you! Please drink responsibly and help us set a positive example while at the wedding venue.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to limited space of the venue, the wedding is an adult-only celebration. We hope you can use this opportunity to relax and enjoy the night with us! Please arrange child care accordingly.

Where can I park at the airbnb for the welcome party/after party?

Answer

Due to limited parking at the house that we are staying at we will be recommending carpooling and parking close by. There is a shopping center with parking next to the Village Inn resturant at 1225 W Eisenhower Blvd, Loveland, CO 80537. It is a VERY short walking distance to the airbnb. Please let us know if you need any further direction.

What are common things I may need to pack to prepare for Colorado?

Answer

If you have not been here before we do average 300 days of sun! We know alot of our friends and family are traveling from out of state. Colorado sits higher and closer to the sun so we recommend bringing sunblock and a re-useable water bottle. Weather is unpredictable. We are hoping for a mild October. But it could be cold, rainy, or snowy.
