Sunday, September 30th is the The San Geronimo Feast day at Taos Indian Pueblo. This is a yearly event starting the morning with Indian foot races, Indian market and food throughout the day. This is one of the best and my favorite in New Mexico. Koshari clowns come out from the top of the Pueblo with Aspen leaves Engaging the crowd while waiting to climb the pole to receive the feast. The Taos Pueblo is the oldest and has been inhabited for over 1000 years. It is well worth taking the extra day in town and traveling home on Monday.
