Yes! Many items on the island are overpriced due to shipping costs. There are a few things Josh and I found really useful to have our own of, and I would recommend purchasing them beforehand to pack with you: - Reef-safe sunscreen - A snorkel (available on Amazon for about $20) - Water shoes - A beach towel -Long sleeve bathing suits or swim shirts (after a few days in the sun you are going to be very happy you have this)
Yes! because of our small guest count we wanted everyones outfits to coordinate for group photos as best as possible. The dress code is dressy casual "aloha" attire. Guests can wear bright colorful clothing or hawaiian/tropical prints. WOMEN: Sundresses, dressy separates in bright colors or tropical prints. MEN: Tropical print shirts, button-down shirts, solid color polos, khaki or chino pants, or shorts. SHOES: The ceremony is on the grass so maybe avoid thin heels. Dress shoes or loafers for men and nice sandals or block heels for women should be fine. WHAT TO AVOID: Keep in mind that the bridesmaids will be wearing solid hot pink so please refrain from wearing that color as well. Jeans and t-shirts are also not the vibe... this is not a backyard bbq. LOL
