Located about 30 minutes east of Portland, Multnomah Falls is the tallest waterfall in Oregon. There is no hiking required to access the waterfall but there are also several trails that will take you to the top of the waterfall and several nearby waterfalls.
Located about an hour south from Portland, Silver Creek Falls is known for it's gorgeous scenery and waterfalls. It is most famous for its trail of ten falls!
Forest Park is located in Northwest Portland and features many beautiful trails you can access from the city. Our favorite trail is the trail to Pittock Mansion via Upper Macleay and Wildwood Trail. The top of Pittock Mansion is where we got engaged! If you are unable to complete the trail, we recommend you drive to the top of Pittock Mansion to enjoy beautiful views of Downtown Portland and Mount Hood.
The Columbia River Gorge is one of the most stunning natural spots in the PNW. It features epic waterfalls, winding trails, and jaw-dropping views around every corner. It's perfect for a long hike, a scenic drive, or just soaking in the beauty.
The Oregon Coast is about 1.5-2 hours away from Portland, depending on which beach you visit. Cannon Beach is the most popular coastal town and is known for its large haystack rocks. While the water is too cold to swim in, the Coast is known for its gorgeous views and scenic hikes.
