Yes. No phones, recording devices, or cameras of any kind will be permitted during the ceremony. This is a 100% unplugged event so please keep those phones in your pocket, bag, purse, etc until after the ceremony. We are looking forward to having everyone present in the moment with us. Si. Evening formal attire: Tuxedos or formal suits are expected, along with long gowns. Please avoid any shades of blue or white for both suits and dresses. All other colors are encouraged! The ceremony and cocktail will be outdoors. The rest of the night will be indoors. Please keep this in mind when deciding on an outfit and shoes or if you should bring a jacket and/or umbrella. The ceremony will be in grass so maybe reconsider stilettos. La ceremonia y el cóctel serán al aire libre. El resto de la noche dentro del salón. Yes! We will be providing private transportation from Novotel. If you decide not to stay at Novotel, but would still like to use the private transportation then please arrive on time for departures. Please arrive at the scheduled time of 3:15pm. The wedding is at the top of a mountain although it is only 10 miles away, traffic could cause result travel time to take up to 45 minutes. Sí! Estaremos ofreciendo transporte privado desde el Novotel. Si decides no hospedarte en Novotel pero aun así quieres usar el transporte privado, por favor asegúrate de llegar a tiempo para las salidas. Por favor, llega a la hora programada: 3:15 p.m. La boda es en las montañas; aunque solo está a 10 millas de distancia, el tráfico puede hacer que el viaje dure hasta 45 minutos.
There is limited parking available, so we will be providing transportation from Novotel hotel to the wedding venue, making it a super convenient option to ensure you can relax and enjoy the evening. The venue is up in the mountains and is very tricky to get to, which is why we’ve arranged transportation for everyone. You’re more than welcome to stay wherever you’d like, but if you plan to use the shuttle (which we HIGHLY recommend), please make sure you arrive at Novotel in time for departures. It will be very hard to get an Uber from the Venue and no taxis will be available either. El estacionamiento es limitado, por lo que estaremos ofreciendo transporte desde el hotel Novotel hasta el lugar de la boda, lo que lo convierte en una opción súper conveniente para que puedas relajarte y disfrutar de la noche. You are welcome to rent a car but driving in Colombia is not easy. There are many potholes, going through mountains, and motorcyclists will ruin your day (they can go through the lanes and in between cars so this makes driving difficult if you aren’t use to it). We recommend using Ubers or Taxis only. Always go with Uber before taxis because they only accept cash, overcharge and take advantage of tourists and their driving is aggressive and not for the faint of heart. Puedes alquilar un carro, pero conducir en Colombia no es fácil. Hay muchos baches, carreteras por la montaña y los motociclistas pueden complicarte el día (se meten entre los carros y los carriles, lo que hace que manejar sea difícil si no estás acostumbrado). Recomendamos usar únicamente Uber o taxis. Siempre es mejor usar Uber antes que taxis, ya que los taxis solo aceptan efectivo, suelen cobrar de más y aprovecharse de los turistas, y su forma de conducir es agresiva, no apta para los que no tienen experiencia.
