Simply RSVP at the tab of our website. The RSVP will also ensure final guest count for VIP seating, catering and venue capacity.
Dress code is Semi-Formal/Cocktail. Please avoid wearing white, ivory or neon and/or loud colors. Be sure that you are comfortable for several hours but avoid casual attire like jeans, sneakers and flip flops. Please note we will be in a religious institution.
We recommend that you arrive 20-30 minutes early to ensure everyone is seated and the ceremony can start on time. If guests arrive very late and the Ceremony doors are closed, staff will quietly guide you to the side of the room and sit you in the back. Please review the Schedule on the website for the guest arrival time.
The closest free parking lot is right across the main entrance of the church. Park at the Wade building with the large "FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH" sign and the ceremony will be in the chapel across the street. Please be careful crossing the street. Head to the front entrance. All other entrances will be locked.
Guests are welcome to sit on either side and seated nearest to the aisle, however, the first few rows will be reserved for family and extended family only. You will be asked by an usher if you are "family/extended family" while entering so that they may guide you to the VIP rows. We also switched up the tradition! Grooms family will be on the Bride's side (left), and Bride's family will be on the Grooms side (right) so that the couple can see their parents and siblings during the ceremony.
We can only accommodate families and official couples that are invited.
They are invited. Please include them in your RSVP. It will let us know how many of your little ones will be joining us, so we can accommodate space and seating arrangements for the reception area. There will be several high chairs available from the church.
Due to the space limitations of the rehearsal venue, we unfortunately have to limit the rehearsal dinner guest list. They will be personally invited. We apologize in advance to those who are not included.
Both the wedding ceremony and reception will take place indoors.
We have hired a photographer and a hybrid videographer to capture these special moments. The ceremony will be an "unplugged" ceremony so we ask that all phones and cameras be turned off and put away. It's only 30 wonderful minutes! :) During the reception, pictures are highly encouraged, we love to see your memories, you can upload your photos to a QR code located on signage around the room. Please be mindful of the media team as they are recording our memories as well.
There will be an interactive photobooth in the reception that you will also use the photo for our guest book! You will simply print a photo and you can place it in the guest book, add your name, a personal message, bible verse. Be Creative! Please don't forget to sign our guest book. Many more activites and entertainment to come...
Dinner will be served around four o'clock. Please plan a late breakfast or early lunch. You will also be served refreshments after the ceremony--you will have plenty to eat and entertainment during the Refreshments hour. Dinner will be cooked and served by the in-house church chef! There will also be cake! :) If you have any food allergies or special diet options, please contact us ahead of time. Please note: all food and beverages must remain in the designated reception area. No food or drink is permitted in the Sanctuary.
After the ceremony, family will be asked to remain seated for group pictures. All other guests can head straight to the main fellowship room, where we will be serving appetizers and beverages for the Refreshments hour. Staff will guide you to a shortcut to the reception room. Please enjoy all the activities taking place in the reception. Check the timeline regularly so that you do not miss important events.
Kindly note that alcohol will not be permitted on church premises, but enjoy refreshing beverages and appetizers at the beginning of the reception.
