Maid of Honor
Brenna and Michelle have been friends since 4th grade, when Brenna moved to Bemidji from Hawaii. Their friendship sparked right away and the two knew immediately they were destined to be friends. From that moment on, they were inseparable. Over the years, summers were spent hopping between each other’s houses almost every day, in what felt like a never-ending sleepover. They explored the woods, swam in the lakes, rode horses, and Brenna taught Michelle about animals and chores. Their friendship has taken them all over the world, including visits to six countries in Europe. Closer to home, countless hours were spent watching movies, playing games, and reading books. One favorite pastime being throwing marshmallows at the villains on screen while drinking hot chocolate. When they were younger, had their own friendship code, calling each other BFFWHTEFE’s. Long phone calls about everything under the sun were a staple of their connection. Over time, Brenna has become another sister to Michelle, blending seamlessly into her family. She will always have a place in Michelle’s heart even being a dozen states apart.
Best Man
Chris and Sam met in college marching band at New Mexico State University and soon realized they were both majoring in Mechanical Engineering. The two engineering students agreed to be roommates sophomore year, despite barely knowing each other, and quickly discovered they had independently purchased nearly identical everything, from toothpaste to groceries. It became clear they were basically the same person. After one late-night marching band competition, they found themselves locked out of the Music Center with no keys and no one answering their phones. Chris, ever resourceful, figured out how to open the back door using nothing but a lanyard. Sam handed his over without hesitation. As they slipped inside, Chris casually said, “Nobody saw anything.” Sam still uses that same lanyard to this day. Fun fact: Sam didn’t actually know Chris’s name for the first three weeks they talked and just confidently went with it. Luckily, the friendship stuck! Reliable, clever, and calm in any situation, Sam couldn’t imagine a better person to stand beside him as Best Man.

Growing up, Michelle and Danielle spent countless hours counting stuffed animals, building pillow forts, and playing pretend. Michelle, the bossy older sister, often led the chaos while Danielle followed right behind. Together, they played on the swing set, collected sticks and frogs in the woods, baked and decorated cookies at Grandma’s, rode bikes and scooters, and played with Barbies and American Girl dolls. They also shared a love of reading, often swapping favorite books and stories. Today, Danielle is a Death Investigator, offering Michelle a fascinating window into the quirks of the world, while continuing to share her love of reading and learning. Watching her little sister grow into such a thoughtful, kind, and passionate young woman has been one of Michelle’s greatest joys.
Groomsman
Sam and Xavier met in high school, where they quickly discovered they had a lot in common, starting with the fact that they’re both very tall and seemed destined to be in the same classes. With both of their parents working as teachers, avoiding each other was never really an option, and after enough shared time, Xavier grew on Sam. They were also involved in theatre, and during their sophomore year, Sam and Xavier played Jesus and Judas in Godspell, a pairing that remains one of their more memorable roles. Like most classic teenagers, they spent their time bowling, playing video games, and watching movies. Over the years they've kept in touch the modern way: an ongoing, low-commitment exchange of memes every few months.
Bridesmaid
Domenica and Michelle met while in college at USC in the Stage Management program where they spent countless late nights in the theatre spiking stages, organizing props, managing actors and directors, perfecting reports, and occasionally questioning their life choices. One of Michelle’s favorite memories was when the stage managers secretly exchanged gifts as a surprise during tech week. Michelle was gifted a small pink bag placed on her calling table. It contained some fun goodies, but most importantly there was a lone Bugle chip sitting inside. Michelle immediately knew who it was from, especially since she had just seen Domenica outside the theatre eating a bag of Bugles before rehearsal! Not exactly subtle, but absolutely unforgettable. Beyond the theatre, Michelle and Domenica have enjoyed trips to Disneyland and the beach, and supporting each other’s productions. Domenica always has the craziest theatre stories! Michelle loves Domenica’s witty humor, brilliant mind, and go-with-the-flow attitude, which make her the life of the party and a joy to be around.
Groomsman
Sam and Matt have known each other since kindergarten, growing up side by side and rarely spending a day apart. From Boy Scouts and backyard campouts to endless nerf wars and video game marathons, they did all the things childhood best friends do. Matt has always had an adventurous spirit and a deep love for animals, especially when it comes to riding horses and caring for his ranch. One of Sam’s favorite memories dates back to middle school, when the boys decided to be a little rebellious by sneaking energy drinks they weren’t allowed to have. After convincing Matt’s older brother to take them to the store, car trouble struck, but that didn’t stop them. They grabbed the drinks, hid them when the parents arrived to help, and somehow got away with it, proving they weren’t exactly troublemakers… just determined. It’s hard to pick a single favorite memory with Matt, because he’s been part of nearly all of them, a constant presence from childhood adventures to lifelong friendship.

Michelle has loved watching Katie pursue her dreams in hospitality, have a beautiful wedding, and become a mom. Katie is one of the most patient and easygoing people, spreading joy wherever she goes. Jacob and Sam met as classmates in the Mechanical Apprenticeship Program at Walt Disney World, and they hit it off immediately, becoming fast and easy friends. Their bond quickly grew over a shared love of roller coasters and music, with Jacob impressively able to name any roller coaster in the world from just a photo. One of Sam’s favorite memories with Jacob is wandering around backstage at the Disney parks—don’t worry, they were on the clock! One night during their explorations, their golf cart mysteriously disappeared, and they spent hours searching the park for it, only to have it reappear a few days later.

Sasha and Michelle met during move-in week of the Disney College Program, which also happened to be the first move-in since the program reopened. Groomsman / Officiant
Hunter has held many titles over the years, tenant, friend, the guy upstairs, but the most important role he’ll ever play is marrying us on our wedding day. One of Sam’s favorite memories with Hunter is New Year’s 2024, when Hunter and Sam very convincingly stage-kissed while Michelle documented the moment in photo form for eternity. When Hunter first moved in, he was determined to make a good impression on his new landlords, so naturally he spent the next eight hours building furniture and putting up shelves with Michelle in the new house, an early sign of the thoughtfulness we’ve all come to know and love. Hunter and Sam can often be found singing Hamilton at the top of their lungs, a habit born from all of us growing up involved in theatre. Whether it’s movie nights full of laughter, trips to Disney World, rounds of golf, or simply going out for pizza, time spent together always turns into unforgettable memories. We couldn’t imagine anyone more perfect to stand beside us and marry us than Hunter.
