You should call a day or two before to book your taxi. **Taxi Contact Numbers** Greg: +353 87 262 6393 John: +353 87 780 6762 Martin: +353 87 819 7716 Declan: +353 87 215 3751 Gary: +353 89 493 7287 In addition, you can download the app Free Now, similar to Uber, you can order and book taxis using the app, no cash required. Flight
When making flight arrangements, we strongly recommend flying in to Dublin Airport. The drive from here to the venue is approximately 45 minutes. If you choose to fly into Shannon Airport, the drive to the venue is about 2 hours.
Rental Car
We highly recommend renting a car for your trip as it's the most convenient and flexible way to get to Tulfarris and explore the surrounding area! The drive is scenic, and having your own car lets you take it all in at your own pace. If you're not used to driving on the left or navigating narrow country roads, we recommend renting an automatic—it’ll make things a lot smoother. The link below will take you to the list of car rental companies at Dublin Airport, but as always, shop around to get the best deal!
Travel Note
**Private Transfer** If you’d prefer to not rent a car and are happy to relax at the venue for the weekend, booking a private transfer in advance is your best option. The closest town is Blessington, just five minutes from Tulfarris, so we suggest arranging your transfer to there—just double-check with your driver that you’re going to Tulfarris Hotel & Golf Resort. Catching a taxi at the airport can be costly, and Uber does not fully operate in Ireland. Make sure to price around to ensure you’re getting the best deal. Below are some options: 1. City Airport Taxis (https://city-airport-taxis.com) Reliable private transfers with flight monitoring, fixed pricing, and meet & greet service 2. Airport Taxis 24 (https://www.at24naas.ie) Flat rates, 24/7 availability, and experienced local drivers. Pricing: €80 during daytime hours (8:00–20:00) and €100 for nighttime or Sundays. 3. Shuttle Direct (https://www.shuttledirect.com/en/airport/dub.html) Wide range of vehicle options, including private and shared transfers. **Public Bus Option** We really don’t recommend using public transport unless you’re up for a bit of an adventure. Buses in rural Ireland can be unreliable and not always on time. There is a public bus route from Dublin Airport to Blessington, but it isn’t direct—travel time can take 2.5 hours or more. That said, if you'd like to explore this option, you can check bus schedules here (https://www.rome2rio.com/s/Blessington/Dublin-Airport-DUB).
