When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by August 1st.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at Locust Grove at 5. The grounds are beautiful to walk around and the venue closes to the public at 5. We will start the ceremony by 5:15

Aren't you already married?

Answer

We did keep our original wedding date and have a tiny ceremony in our backyard on Sept 12, 2020. However, we do still plan to have a short ceremony to kick off the party and reaffirm our commitment. We're so excited to celebrate in front of everyone!

What are your Covid precautions?

Answer

We request that everyone please be vaccinated and/or get a negative covid test within 3 days of the wedding for the safety of our other guests and staff. As of right now, we do plan to have the ceremony and cocktail hour outside. The reception will be indoors. As the date gets closer we'll have a better idea of any other precautions we'll have in place.

Are kids welcome?

Friends, we love your kids, but we do plan to keep the wedding to adults and children of family only.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, Locust Grove has a large parking lot in front.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will not have any bus from the hotels to the ceremony. Both recommended hotels are walkable, and if you book the Courtyard Marriot Poughkeepsie is right next door!
