Flight
Out-of-state guests will want to fly into Denver International Airport. Our wedding venue is a (beautiful) 2.5-hour drive from Denver.
Hotel
This is where we'll have both the ceremony and reception, and we encourage you to stay on site with us! The Surf is divided into two lodging areas: the Hotel and the Chateau. Both offer similar styles of rooms and prices; the main difference is that all of the Chateau rooms have ground-floor access. No matter which room you choose, you'll only be a few steps away from both the ceremony and the reception. We have reserved a two-night wedding block that includes Chateau and Hotel rooms at a discounted rate. Booking within the block is first come, first serve. Here's how to access our wedding block and receive a 10% discount on your stay: - Go to surfhotel.com and click "Book A Room" - Type in your desired dates (May 30 - June 1, 2024) - Click the "Do you have a group code?" link and enter SHORTALL2024 - You will then be able to access available rooms within the block If all of the rooms in the block are sold out, don't fret! There are more rooms available at the hotel, but the discount will not apply. There are also more lodging options around town (see below).
Travel Note
Buena Vista is a small mountain town that does not have ride share services (Uber, Lyft, etc.), and there will not be a shuttle to/from the venue. Your best option is to stay at the hotel/venue or at one of the nearby South Main Residences (info below). If those aren't your style, scroll down for info on additional lodging.
House Or Rental
The South Main Residences are a series of homes and apartments owned and operated by the Surf Hotel. They are all located within walking distance (5 minutes or less) of the hotel/venue, and are a great option for families or groups traveling together.
Hotel
There are additional hotels and vacation rental options at a range of prices in downtown Buena Vista and beyond. Note that most of these will require you to drive to/from the venue.
