I (Michelle) was running around one Sunday morning like I usually do, when a sweet pair of hightop converse kicked up on the sound booth caught my eye. Being the Converse-loving girl that I am, I immediately made my way over to talk to the guy that I had seen many times before but never really talked to much. Before I knew it, I found myself enjoying conversation with this intriguing guy and accepting a Saturday brunch invitation a few weeks later. That all-you-can-eat brunch buffet had us taking up high demand restaurant space for over 3 hours that morning. I never made it back for seconds… but I knew for sure that it wouldn’t be the last time I’d be brunching with him… What she didn’t know was I (Nahum) had my eye on her for… let’s just say a while up to that point… and was waiting for the right time to make my move. She fell right into the master plan. As for the rest of the story, it’s unfolding history.

“2021”, he said. “It will be a while”, he said. Lies. All lies!! I (Michelle) spent weeks trying to plan and execute a surprise weekend for Nahum’s 32nd birthday. His sister and friends came to town to surprise him.. so I thought. Little did I know, he had put them up to the whole thing as a cover for his proposal! My sister, Tiffany, even had an elaborate story about how she had to drive down to Florida to sign papers in person for their rental house down there. Also false. After singing happy birthday, at what I thought was his surprise lunch, Nahum took the opportunity to pop the question. I was completely shocked, you guys!! I had no idea it was coming so soon. This guy loves surprise and this girl loves knowing the game plan. Good thing he's cute! And.. I couldn’t be happier!
