What does a "mostly casual" wedding mean?

Answer

It is June in Yosemite. Which means it will be sunny and hot.....knock wood. Needless to say suits, tuxes or fancy dresses are not on the docket. Welcome BBQ - Coyote Hill Event Area BBQ and s'mores on a tanbark surface - casual attire, recommending flats or sandals or closed toed shoes for the little ones. Ceremony & Reception - Wapama Grove & Main Plaza Wapama Grove is grass, with a short walk on pavement back to the Main Plaza. Recommending wedges or flats for shoes, not heels. Sundresses and short or long sleeve collared shirts would probably be the most comfortable! Farewell Brunch - On grass & pavement. Recommending wedges or flats for shoes, not heels.

What is the closest airport?

Answer

Fresno is the closest sizeable airport to Evergreen Lodge and Yosemite. Though options for direct flights may be limited. Sacramento, San Jose and Oakland are all a similar distance from Evergreen. If you fly into San Francisco you'll have to drive across a bridge which depending on traffic can make the drive a bit more "fun".
