The Olen Franklin band debuted on new year eve 2016 at Gilbrartar Milwaukee. This high energy band consists of four friends who worked together for many years playing with various artists in the city of Milwaukee. Throughout the years we formed a bond like no other, so bringing our talents together to design this band was as easy as possible. Members of this band perform with many artists such as the Kevin Hayden Band, Cigarette Break, R&B Live House band and Joe Jordan and friends just to name a few. What separates this unit from the others is that we play a variety of different styles and genres of music. We can go from jazz to Latin as well as R&B to hip hop. This band has also traveled, recorded and performed with National Recording Artist Wyclef Jean. We all started in our various churches in which we still do play at. It is important that we pay homage to our roots where we came from and the church played a major role in our musical development.

"Ain’t Nobody"... that can..."Rock Steady" like the R&B funk band V Funk! Valerie B. & the Boyz, aka “V” Funk, is a Milwaukee based R&B funk cover band led by bandleaders and managers Valerie Benton and Vincent Chambers. V Funk is a high powered, high energy funk band that has hit the music scene entertaining and engaging music loving fans from all across Wisconsin and the Midwest, since 2012. Contemporary R&B, soul and funk is evident in the sound of the band. They can take a funky, old school tune and apply their own mix of versatility, originality, and creativity into that song. They have been described as “…one of the best Soul, R&B groups EVER HEARD!! They BLEW US AWAY!!” V Funk adds their own musical flavor to cover Old School, Funk, R&B/Soul, Blues, and popular songs spanning the 60's to today's current hits. That musical flavor is called “V” Funk!
