Des Moines International Airport
The Des Moines International Airport is a 10 minute drive from downtown Des Moines, where our hotel block and ceremony location is, making it the best option for guest flying in for the weekend. Guests that are looking for a road trip may choose to fly into Chicago or Minneapolis to explore the cities and drive to Des Moines for the wedding. Des Moines is a 4-hour drive from Minneapolis and a 5-hour drive from Chicago.

Renaissance Des Moines Savery Hotel
We have heard that the room block is currently full. We are working to add more rooms to the block right now! Please check back later this week, and we will provide an update! The Renaissance Hotel is a short 5-minute walk to the ceremony location and is located in the heart of downtown Des Moines with easy walking access to bars and restaurants. We have reserved a room block with a special rate $199 per night for the Thursday (8/7), Friday (8/8), Saturday (8/9), and Sunday (8/10) nights of our wedding weekend. The rate is available for any number of the 4 nights and can be booked online using the view button below. If you would like to stay longer or plan to arrive early, please reach out to us and we can discuss extending the room rate with the hotel. Parking: There is city of Des Moines parking across the street from the hotel for $10/day. The parking garage is located at the 4th and Grand Parking Garage: https://parkchirp.com/facilities/4th-grand-garage-parking/. The hotel offers valet parking for $35/day, but we would recommend the self-park option as it is easy and straightforward.

Travel Note
Travelling Around Des Moines
Des Moines is a very car-centric city, but renting a car for our wedding is not a necessity! Guests staying in downtown will be able to walk to many restaurants and bars, and can use Uber, Lyft, or cabs to explore the outside of the city center. We will have shuttles going to and from the reception and our downtown hotel block is within walking distance of the ceremony.
