Things To Do

We like to drink a lot of wine - this local winery was where we went after our engagement and was a quick walk from our house in Leucadia. There are a lot of memories here and a lot of Beacon's Blend has been consumed.

Solterra Winery & Kitchen

All-American food with a fun, local vibe! We have had many-a nights here. Lavender moscow mules and Bloody Mary's are the ultimate recommendation here.

The Bier Garden

Nice, iconic easy hike and beautiful views.

Torrey Pines State Reserve

Right on the 101! Enjoy the day in the sun on a nearby local beach.

Cardiff State Beach

Coffee, breakfast, lunch etc - great cute spot right by Carruth Wine Cellars!

Lofty Coffee Solana Beach Cafe

Walk around the beach at Dog Beach - gorgeous views.

Del Mar Dog Beach

Super close to Carruth - enjoy a beach day, walk or some gorgeous views. We often see dolphins here!

Fun 1.5 mile trail with some incredibly scenic "caves." Make sure you walk down the stairs to the right when you start, or you can take the left path for more of a scenic walk by the ocean.

Annie's Canyon Trail

Super easy hike close by in Carlsbad - just east of where we currently live! Nice views of the city and ocean.

Calavera Mountain Trail

Think if Whole Foods and Lazy Acres (local Encinitas market) had a child. A local favorite = the Cardiff Crack which is apparently tri-tip marinated in some burgundy sauce and is fabulous.

Cardiff Seaside Market

Life is better buzzed! Fave spot for avocado toast, acai bowls, speciality coffees - and super close to the beach, in downtown Encinitas!

This is located in downtown Del Mar and has an incredible view of the ocean! Enjoy some fun cocktails and good food.

Monarch Ocean Pub

A fan favorite. Good vibes all around here and close to the venue.

Tons of beer and seltzer selection. Very close to the venue and has outdoor games!
