The Happily Ever After Party

The first time we met was in November of 2014 at a Penn State canning trip in Reading, PA. For those of you who don't know, Penn State students gather in groups to raise money for THON - a 46-hour dance marathon that is dedicated to enhancing the lives of families impacted by pediatric cancer. It just so happened that we were both assigned the same canning trip. We discovered that we were both from Philadelphia and bonded over our stories of being raised in Philly. Our friendship quickly grew and we started talking nearly every day. We started dating March 10th, 2015.

Michelle arranged a multi-location photoshoot in Paris to get "insta-worthy" pics. Little did she know, 1) Jamyl was planning on proposing 2) She unknowingly booked a group photoshoot with two lovely strangers. When they reached the Eiffel tower (the last stop), Jamyl conspired with the photographer to separate the group and popped the question!
