Erin is Michelle's youngest sister and despite an eleven year age difference, they were best friends in DC for two years when Erin lived in Northern Virginia. Even though Michelle, changed her diapers, she now always asks Erin to do her make-up and hair when going out. Michelle is always inspired by Erin's Gen Z whimsy and she brings so much joy to their family events.

Matt and James have lived their whole lives together. From grade school to standing with him at his wedding and becoming his daughter's godfather, James is so lucky to have Matt in his life. They fully get one another and can complete each other's sentences, which is trully hard to find. Matt was James' roommate in Mexico and was there the moment James met Michelle!

Jessica is James' sister! Jess and Michelle share a bond for the same books and movies, keeping James in line, and Jess's little puppy dog Maisie. Even though Jess is a Bills fan and Michelle is a Patriots fan, they still watch football together and even go to NFL games in rival stadiums. Jess has been an amazing support to James and Michelle during their relationship and often hosts them at her place in Toronto. James wouldn't be where he is today without Jess and vice versa. Michelle is excited to have Jess as a new sister in her family!

They are always on the hunt for the perfect extra dirty vodka martini. Lisa and Michelle have been there through their best and toughest times, and Michelle knows Lisa will always be there to celebrate her joys and support her when its needed. Lisa was on the Mexico trip where Michelle met James!

James is so proud to support his friend has he's taken risks as the most impressive entrepreneur he knows. Khalil was also in Mexico when James met Michelle!

Sarah and Michelle met the very first night of college and Michelle knew they would be friends forever when Sarah pulled out a Boston Red Sox shirt! Their friendship has spanned college and adulthood, from late nights at Pour House to fancy cocktail bars in Boston. Sarah and her husband Matt have been a huge part of Michelle and James' relationship and even took Michelle and James to the Masters in 2024. Sarah is one of the most loving and supportive people Michelle knows and she would trust her with anything.

Their almost twenty year friendship has experienced everything from clubbing in warehouses in Atlanta to painting Jane's baby's nursery together. Michelle and Jane share a similar soul, which includes sending unhinged memes and videos to each other and being each other's safe space to just be crazy. However, they also know how to hold the other down and be their voice of reason. Jane was part of the Mexico trip where the magic began!

James calls Ali his "carebear buddy" because he always makes you feel better even when things aren't. It was at Ali's Bachelor party trip that James met Michelle!

Dylan and James played hockey together in grade school and became good friends over the years. They have worked together since high school from working at the golf course to becoming masons in construction. James was one of Dylan's groomsmen and has enjoyed watching Dylan grow his family.

Shannon and Michelle were Freshmen roommates at the University of South Carolina and have been best friends ever since. They've supported each other through thick and thin and spent Thanksgivings, Easters, and New Years holidays with each other's families. Michelle is so proud of the life Shannon has built in Florida where she is an amazing kite surfer, living out her beach life dreams. Shannon is a beach babe, but she is also an opera singer. If you're lucky you'll get to hear her at karaoke one day. Shannon was part of the Mexico girls trip where this all began!

Heath and Michelle were in the same first grade class, but didn't become best friends until eigth grade. From honors classes to USC Mock Trial, Heath and Michelle have been close all through high school and college, and kept that relationship into adulthood through hours-long phone calls talking about books, movies, philosophy, and life shenanigans...plus a few "tame" visits to Washington, DC for Pride Weekend and New Years Eve. Michelle and Heath might be platonic soul mates and often knows what the other is thinking. That being said, he always forgets to text back unless Michelle sends an "ARE YOU ALIVE!?" message.

Jimmy has been one of James' most loyal buds. Jimmy and his wife have been good friends to James and Michelle including going on vacations to cottage country together.

Kyle was James' first roomate after high school. Their friendship has spanned from skipping school together to play Halo, to working multiple jobs together for over a decade. James helped Kyle getting his job out west and he now lives in Alberta. Kyle has always been a great friend to James and his presense in Guelph is missed.
