Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at the Eglinton Grand in Toronto on the evening of Friday November 6, 2026. Specific details on start time will be shared soon. Because of hotel check-in availability and Toronto traffic, we recommend arriving by Thursday evening or Friday morning and securing an early check-in.

Answer

Formal invitations with RSVP instructions will be sent later this summer. But feel free to tell the bride and groom if you are planning to come--or if you can't--in advance! You will still need to formally respond to the RSVP as it will include your meal request.

What is the suggested dress code?What is the suggested dress code?

Answer

The Eglinton Grand is a historic, renovated, 1930s Art Deco theater and the dress code is formal, black tie optional. We encourage guests to dress to impress! Feel free to honor the venue with your favorite top hat and fur, or bring that gown or tux you’ve been wanting to wear for years. We also can’t wait to dance the night away, so bring your dancing shoes! The venue will have a complimentary coat check.

As the wedding is a formal, evening event, both ceremony and reception will be adults only. Invited guests were listed on your save the dates. Children and other family members that travel with you will be welcome at all other weekend events! Thank you for understanding. Please reach out to the bride or groom if you are planning to travel to Toronto with your family and need assistance making childcare arrangements for Friday night.

We hope guests spend Saturday morning relaxing and recovering, enjoying a delicious brunch at one of Tornto's many restaurants, or exploring the city as a tourist. We will host a social event Saturday afternoon/evening. More details to come!
