Things To Do

There’s plenty to explore around Point Roberts if you want to make a long weekend of it. Point Roberts itself is small and low‑key, but highlights include: coastal walks and beaches, Lily Point Marine Reserve for hiking and wildlife spotting, and Monument Park, where you can stand at the literal border and take in sweeping water views. There’s also a marina, a couple of local cafés and taverns, and peaceful shoreline spots that make it perfect for slow mornings and unplugged wandering. There's also a 18‑hole golf course, the Point Roberts Golf & Country Club, with coastal views and a small‑town feel. Across the border in Canada, White Rock offers a lively waterfront promenade, pier, restaurants, and beaches, while Ladner Village has a charming small‑town vibe with local shops, cafés, and markets. For families, Big Splash Water Park in Tsawwassen is a popular summer stop, and the surrounding area also offers beaches, coastal trails, and easy access to Vancouver.
