Around Tribeca

The (Unofficial) Boyer's Guide to Tribeca

Find all our neighborhood faves on Google Maps here! (We encourage you to get reservations!)

The Bean

There's only one recreational activity we require of you: THE BEAN (located at Church & Leonard) Ever since we moved to the neighborhood, we’ve stopped to take our picture here any time we pass. We have 100+ photos and counting, and we want yours. Take a selfie, send it to us, and officially join the collection.

Restaraunts

ONE WHITE STREET - Top-notch food in an old 3-story townhouse FRENCHETTE - Sat next to Matthew Rhys & Keri Russel at the bar here CASA CARMEN - Our favorite 'mexican' in the neighborhood - to our southern friends, do not expect tex mex :) CHAMBERS - Favorite (upscale) wine bar in the neighborhood TINY'S - Cute brunch spot. Props if you can snag a spot at their 3-person bar upstairs THE ODEON - an NYC classic. Filmed JFK show here (as well as Bubby’s & Walker’s). Get the espresso martini! LOCANDA VERDE - Owned by Robert Deniro BEEF BAR - Celebrated our 1-year anniversary here; the ribeye grilled cheese is a must (and check out the bar) BUBBY'S - IYKYK: Avoid the morning line and get the pancakes for dinner FORGIONE - Sunday evening off-menu burger at the bar SEVENTY SEVEN ALLEY - you may get to see the chef London Chase from Next Gen Chef work the tasting counter. Get the chopped cheese! SQUARE DINER - Don’t expect cheap diner prices but this diner is a staple in the neighborhood

Bars

NANCY WHISKEY TAVERN - Bruce’s favorite dive bar with Yuengling on draft HOLYWATER - Speaky-easy that transports you to Montauk WALKER'S - the classic neighborhood bar with outdoor eating GST - Probably our most frequented bar together, and the place to watch every big game BRANDY LIBRARY - Over 1,500 spirits here! The inside looks like a library of whiskeys GALERIE BAR - Swanky, evening-time bar TERROIR - Fun & funky wine bar for our adventurous wine lovers SMITH & MILLS - Smallest bar on our list (other than Tiny’s), but big vibes ALL BLUES - Japan meets jazz bar, but it works (there's a home theater in the back just to listen to jazz) SAINT TUESDAY - Underground jazz bar (cozy cave vibes) OLIVE'S - It may just look like a coffee shop…but IYKYK craft beer flights BRICKYARD - We challenge you to count the number of TVs here (biggest bar on our list) EAR INN - Our one cheat outside the hood. Iconic dive bar! BEEKMAN HOTEL - If you like a great hotel bar

Cafes

ROXY CAFE - Their breakfast sandwiches go fast FRENCHETTE - Not to get confused with the restaurant (220 Church St). One of the best bakeries in the neighborhood. GRAND DAISY BAKERY - so…much…bread. OLIVE'S - A great cafe (where you can also order your 11 am beer…) NEIBORHOOD - Get the dates LAUGHING MAN CAFE - you’ll likely stand in line but it’s bustling for a reason! Great lunch options as well GOTAN - Spacious coffee shop with food options!

Markets

MEADOW LANE - Grab your picnic basket at the door and make sure to fill yours with the chicken nuggets (there’s a cafe in here too). RIGOR HILL - The trendy market; it’s small and usually packed, but worth a stop by. People travel far for the hot chocolate MORGAN'S MARKET - Half bodega / half flower market TRIBECA FARMER'S MARKET - If it’s a Saturday morning, we are here
