FAQs

Question

Wait, so...there's no ceremony?

Answer

That's right! We've decided to do things a little differently :) In lieu of a traditional ceremony, we’ll be “eloping” at the NYC courthouse (also in Tribeca) on Friday, October 1, 2027. The ceremony itself will be private, but we're building the whole weekend around it so we can celebrate with our people! The "main event" will be the Friday night party that will still involve dinner, drinks, speeches and dancing!

Question

What's the attire for the weekend?

Answer

The attire for Welcome Drinks on Thursday night is 'NY Chic' - your best New York night-out look. Dress up, make it your own and have fun with it! Guys can wear button downs, blazers, your 'dressed up' style - but don't have to go full suit. For Dinner & Dancing on Friday night, we'll level it up with Cocktail attire. Think chic, midi to long dresses for ladies and suits for men (although no ties required.) And while not required, in true New York fashion – literally – this is one wedding where you can never go wrong with black.

Question

Will there be transportation provided to/from the parties?

Answer

If you stay at one of the recommend hotels, we've made sure that each event is no more than a 10 min walk!

Question

Are there any official wedding events on Saturday?

Answer

Nope. That said (while we realize many of you have kids to go home to), we'd love for you to stay and play for those who can. We may find a bar to watch football, hit up a brewery or organize a casual park picnic (for example.) We'll find ways for us all to link up. And if you'd like, you can use the day / evening to book a reservation at one of our recommended spots!

Question

What's the best airport to fly into?

Answer

If you're staying in downtown Manhattan, we recommend flying into LGA or Newark. But if flights are looking better for you at JFK, go for it. At any airport, do not get a cab from the people standing around in the terminal! Follow the signs for Rideshare or the official Taxi stands.
