We're getting married!

We met in the digital era through a dating app called Coffee meets Bagel during an unlikely time, COVID. We agreed to meet up at Gypsy Kitchen in Buckhead for our first date and the rest is history.

Armin invited Michelle to a brunch date with him at Tiny Lou's, a restaurant at the historic Clermont Hotel, a week prior. Over the week, he happened to mention there was a "jacket requirement" (aka dress nice) and that the reservation had to be made for earlier than planned. Michelle was resistant to an early brunch (she values her beauty sleep) and kept questioning dressing up for brunch - she did not make this easy on him. Saturday morning came, we dolled up and headed to our "brunch." Once there, Armin insisted the reservation was on the rooftop of Clermont Hotel vs. the restaurant's actual location on the bottom floor, which Michelle insisted could not be! Eventually, she obliged to at least double check the rooftop. As we entered the rooftop, it was clear, there was no reservation or restaurant just a secluded space. Since we were the only ones at the roof on that beautiful Saturday morning, Armin casually suggested enjoying the view before our reservation. Suddenly, Armin popped on one knee with the ring! Turns out, Armin had rented the rooftop out for the romantic engagement proposal! Shortly after and many tears later, both our families surprised Michelle by joining the couple on the rooftop. Then an hour later, Michelle's friends from Atlanta also joined us. It was a beautiful proposal filled with some of our favorite humans. Armin, being the accountant that he is, had an entire Excel file of planned activities for the rest of day, which included brunch at Tiny Lou's, a Piedmont Park picnic with our pups (Beowulf and Frida), dinner, drinks, and ended with an overnight stay at the Clermont Hotel.
