Pastor Kenneth "Kenny" Brown is the maternal Uncle of the Bride! He has been a pastor for 24 years. Kenny dated the brides youngest Aunt and namesake, Ruth Michelle Payne Brown for 14 years! They were highschool sweethearts, and now since been married for 28 years! Kenny is an elementary and high school basketball coach (thus how super tall he is); when the bride Michelle was a young girl visiting her Grandma Lula in Keystone, WV in the summers, she'd be excited to get a glimpse of the gentle giant who was dating her seemly quiet and shy aunt in awh! But then again she also thought her auntie was super tall too from her 10 year old height perspective! It will be a delight to have a familiar face and a known trusted walk in faith in this officiant! The Bride and Groom are happy to have a true man of God to unite this union!

They have been apart of each others lives for the most celebrated, cherished, hard and delicate times for one another. Their intertwining and parallel lives has always kept them close!

You may have heard of "Meetchie" from Michelle's High School days and shenanigans, but the now more mature "Dee" is what we call her! Dee and Michelle go way back to high school, "The Rock" 1993! I pregnant Michelle, embarrassed and off to her self in a new school was approached by a girl who understood all too much her plight, and they have been friends Twinning and Winning ever since! Brilliant Talent indeed!

Back in college, at West Virginia State University Michelle had a really cool neighbor, with an adult daughter who'd often come by to visit her named "Tweety Bird" aka Terresa! Terresa and Michelle hit it off from the start, and Terresa has shown up and shown out for Michelle every year now since 1995/96! It will forever be a must these two will get in their quality time! Terresa is a brilliant, smart, feisty and craft talented one who will make it for you better than you can imagine it!

Michelle graduated WVSC and headed to her new Home in Charlotte, NC Summer 2001 where she was also gifted with a kind, mild, consistent, always helpful, positive and upbeat neighbor to go along with that new home! Kiki, also a mom hit it off immediately, and have since then been life long friends, only a call away! A friend in need and a friend indeed.

It was around September 27th 2009, celebrating Jalen's (Michelle's Eldest son) 15th birthday with family and friends at the house! Damon, Michelle's brother shows up with a beautiful Portia Kee, clearly gorgeous but who is she? Meanwhile Jalen is "jerking" the latest dance at the time and he aint bout no games! So mom (Michelle) jumps in and quickly back out after a failed attempt at the Kid and Play jump across one leg when Ms. Portia with no smile or face expression (at least not one Michelle could read), comes in close and ask, "Is this a dance composition?" Michelle says with a shrug "yes" and without a word, or a change in face expression Portia bust out all her best Bell, Biv Devoe Poison dance moves and blows everybody out the competition! She 's been family ever since! Not to mention Portia is the mom of Michelle's only niece Victoria Kee Cromwell equally gorgeous and fantastic! Portia is a brilliant mind, visionary and epic event planner, film industry guru, casting, staging and assistant to a major Director and Producer in her own right! When she needs a singer for her upscale events, Tiffany Blu is who she always calls!

Back in November 2015 a no nonsense therapist from NY named Tiffany came walking into a long time Agency Michelle had been working for. Michelle being the Intake Coordinator who assigned cases to the therapist, relied heavily on the best of them to service clients she had screened. It didn't take long before Michelle took notice that Tiffany was a healing and empowering therapist who got results and lucky for Michelle she lent that talent and kindness toward her friends as well! Michelle and Tiffany would engage in the deepest of conversations, advising one another, supporting, encouraging and motivating one another as accountability partners! Sharing ideas and business enhancement, and navigating in a single woman's world trying to figure it out together! Tiffany is a brilliant mind, a thinker, a teacher, a life coach, a God loving woman, a go getter, a Mother a grandmother like you've never seen! Michelle wishes she met her a long time ago, but grateful she met her at all!

Wonderful with her son (Jarrari), and motivated by her responsibility; though it is not easy Winter will win, that's what Michelle sees in this beauty!

Summer is the adorned niece of the Groom Anthony Foreman and when Michelle met her on September 3, 2022 she couldn't help but see herself in her and her sister Winter! In Summer, she saw a young , sweet face baby girl housed in a woman's body! Not yet ready to be out here in these means streets but ready to try to figure it out! One of the softest most beautiful voices Michelle had ever heard, prompted hours long of singing, duet-ing in a family jam session we will never soon forget! A wonderful auntie to her nephew (Jarrari), a great cook and baker! With a love for God and a desire to do His will , Michelle see's in this beauty great things for Ms. Summer when she's ready to open up her wings!

He is a positive light source, quiet energy and is likely moving about with his tongue hanging out like Michael Jordan because he is serious about his play time! However, don't get it twisted, when Pre-School is in session Jarari falls in line, in fact he leads the line in being the best and most studious of them all!

Antwon D. Foreman is the Eldest Foreman Son of the Groom! Antwon is not only the Grooms first child, he's also the first grandchild of the Mary Clan (the grooms mother). Antwon has always been a very bright & intelligent young man who graduated with two degrees from the University of North Carolina A&T Aggies. He will be pursuing his doctrine in 2024. For now he will continue teaching at North Carolina A&T while building his marketing and consulting business. To say his father is very proud of his life path would be an understatement. When the Groom had to have a outpatient procedure, Antwon came and stayed with the Groom to doctor him back to health with no hesitation when ask to come. He's been a special young man who is loved dearly by the Groom. He's an amazing son that shows through his character and personality.

Anthony Davis Foreman is the youngest Foreman son of the Groom! This is the care free child! Davis has always been the adventurist one of the two brothers and just as intelligent and smart. Anthony knew this when his then only 3 year old son Davis climbed into his computer desk chair, turned on the PC and knew how to navigate to find his educational games by himself! When guest would come over Dad would ask Davis, "Do you want to play your game?" Dad would then sit back and watch the faces of the guest as Davis went through his steps in getting to his game. The guest would be shocked with question as Dad just smiled with pride and excitement! Fast track to today, Davis is flying drones (State Certified) and has an eye for photography. Davis has never been one to sit still for a moment. Any phone call to check on him, he could be in Atlanta, Charlotte, Miami, or who knows! Davis is enjoying life like most young adults still finding his way yet living life to the fullness. He's an amazing young man who will always have his father heart.

Tony Foreman is the Eldest Brother of the Groom! Tony has always been a role model for his two siblings, Anthony and Lamont. Not always the perfect role model, yet a very consistent one indeed! Tony set the standard high for his siblings being the oldest. Not having a father in the home while growing up, Tony took on being that male role model as well as big brother to heart. That role hasn't change much since they all became adults. Now they give each other advice and encouragement in life. The Groom still looks up to Tony to this day as he did when he was younger. There could be so much more to say, however the core of it all lies in the words above.

Lamont Foreman is the Youngest Foreman Brother of the Groom! If you want the life of the party, the jokester, dance partner, or a laugh he's your guy! Lamont will always bring up stories from the past to bring a smile or laughter to the event. Even-though he can get a little wild at times, he has a big heart and will help anyone out that needs help. One story he brings up all the time is when the Groom would let him baby sit his oldest son Antwon when Antwon was a baby. He always said that made him grow up faster and how he was grateful to be entrusted with the Groom's son. And yes, being the baby brother he still thinks he can get his way. Lamont is a great father of four and grandfather who spreads his love throughout his kids.

Micheal "Mike" Ellis is the 1st Cousin of the Groom, actually more like a brother! These two go way back to the days when they use to listen to Richard Pryor comedy shows on wax at their grandparents house Ben and Annie Mae Harris! They would be in tears laughing so hard that the parents would come in the room to ask "What y'all doing?" Mike is a person that the Groom would go to to vent, get his opinion or advice, or just to chalk it up. Even though they are cousins, they act more like brothers. The only time they will butt heads is during football season when Mike's Ravens plays Anthony's Steelers, definitely no love lost there! Mike is a husband, father, and loving son as well as a retired Servicemen for this country. More importantly Mike is carrying the legacy of his late father James Ellis who was a loving husband, father and role model for the Groom as well.

Damon Cromwell, the One and Only Sibling and Brother of the Bride! This guy is one of the most driven individuals the Groom has ever met! His soft but strong words mean exactly what they say. The two met initially when work was needed done to his vehicle. You can say the Groom owes it to Damon in finding his future Bride Michelle. Michelle needed some work done to her vehicle. Damon recommended the shop that the Groom was working at. That's really the beginning of the Bride & Groom's journey. It was through Damon's recommendation that led to this joyous wedding event! The Groom has developed a great deal of respect for Damon, as a father of two beautiful kids, Victoria & Damon Cromwell Jr, a brother to Michelle and soon to be brother-in-law, and as a black business owner. The Groom is looking forward to learning more as well as bonding with his future brother-in-law.

Jalen Cromwell is the Eldest Son of the Bride! The Groom's first encounter with Jalen was on a Friday Night when the Bride invited the Groom over for dinner. Jalen was sitting in the lazy sofa playing his held hand game. Jalen was quiet and laid back with not much eye contact. Preparing to eat dinner, the Bride put on a movie and that's when the Groom started to see the personality of Jalen start to show. In the movie there was a funny part and that's when the Groom heard the most infectious laugh he's ever heard! The Groom laughed more at Jalen's laugh than he did at the actual movie. The Groom later realized that Jalen is a very soft spoken yet intelligent young man who is very witty. When he speaks, you should tune into what he is saying. The Groom is looking forward to spending even more time with Jalen.

Joshua Scott Michael Sumter is the Youngest Son of the Bride! This young man has so many different personalities and a smile to match. The Groom has learned that Josh is a very talented young man with a gift of acting, a gourmet cook, a model for varies advertising and strong athlete. Josh and the Groom have their own Madden football competition on PS4 for in home bragging rights! And yes it's very competitive! Josh is a sweet young man finding his way through his many talents which the Groom is very excited to be apart of that guidance, as his "pops", couch, parent partner with Michelle, and willing mentor on his journey to manhood. The Groom is looking forward to being apart of Josh's life forever. A true bond is definitely building between the two.

Damon Cromwell Jr. is the Oldest and Only Nephew of the Bride! He's a very soft spoken young man. Damon Jr. has a very gentle spirit and one of the most polite young men you will ever meet. What stands out for the Groom about Damon Jr. is that he loves food! If he doesn't take a to-go plate, he may be politely telling you in his own way that the food may not be the best. The Groom wants Damon Jr to know he's always welcome to come over from College at UNCC for dinner anytime with a to-go plate ready. just for him!

Michael Foreman is the Nephew of the Groom! Michael and the Groom have some of the same characteristics and personality. Both are laid back, reserve, quiet yet out spoken when need be. The Groom and his nephew Michael have always had an unspoken bond. Just hearing he was an usher in the wedding brought excitement to Michael. The Groom loves his nephew dearly and will always be there to support and encourage Michael.
