Watch the sun drop behind the Olympic Mountains at Golden Gardens Park. There is bike path from the Locks to the Golden Gardens Park.

The BEST ramen in all of Seattle 10/10 recommend.
The loop trail is about 2.8miles, a low grade hike. If you go down to the light house we recommend driving, as the hill to get there is extremely steep. Catch low tide at the light house, play in the sand, and find sea creatures.
Beautiful view of the city in a park that used to be a coal plant. The historic structures still stand and there is a covered playground.

Bop around the center of the universe the Fremont neighborhood. Lots of good thrift stores, restaurants, and coffee spots.
Grab a coffee from Retreat and take in the colors of fall with a walk around Greenlake 2.8mile flat path.
Walk through Seattle's Pike Place Market and check out all the vendors. Get a cup of Beecher's mac n cheese, see salmon fly through the air, and stick some gum on the gum wall!
Go up in the Space Needle for a view of all of Seattle, the Sound, and Olympic and Cascade Mountains.

Hang in our neighborhood Capitol Hill. Walk up the water tower and learn about one of Seattle's oldest Park. There are big green spaces, a view of the space needle and olympic mountains, a walking path, and playground.
A cozy and cute cafe in our neighborhood. They have good coffee and yummy ginger bread cookies! Walking distance from Volunteer Park.
Grab a drink in our neighborhood Capitol Hill at Alex's old stomping grounds and place of work while they were in grad school. Beware there is also a Ballard location but this is not the one Alex worked at.
