Question

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

Answer

Once you receive the formal invitation, we invite you to RSVP online here via Zola or by emailing us at micheleandnikko@gmail.com

Question

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue?

Answer

The Sheraton with our blocked rooms, the church, and the reception venue are all within <20 minutes of each other. We hoped to make this as convenient as possible for you! We invite you to rent a car for the weekend so that you can also explore the surrounding areas of Austin and the north suburbs. We encourage using Rideshares such as Uber or Lyft if you plan on partaking in alcoholic beverages. The reception venue and hotel are within 10 minutes of each other which should make Rideshares inexpensive.

Question

Is there parking available at your wedding venues?

Answer

There are parking lots at all locations. The Sheraton has a free parking garage with your stay, and both the church and reception venue have their own private parking lots as well.

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Most of our events will be held indoors, however there is an opportunity to have the cocktail hour outdoors if weather permits. Please dress accordingly.

Question

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

There are a limited number of reserved blocks of rooms at the Sheraton Hotel in Georgetown. We encourage you to book your stay with us as soon as possible. You can find a link to this in the "Travel" tab.

Question

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

The dress code for the ceremony and reception is formal attire.

Question

What is the weather like in the area?

Answer

In late November, temperatures in the Austin area can range from 50 - 70 degrees. Earlier in the mornings and late at night is typically when the temperatures drop to the 50s. Please dress accordingly.

Question

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 1:00pm. We encourage you to arrive 30 minutes early so that you have an appropriate amount of time to find parking, greet family/friends and find a seat.

Question

Will there be a time gap between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

We expect the ceremony to complete at or around 2:30pm. After the ceremony, the happy couple and bridal party will be taking photos prior to the reception which begins at 5pm. In between the ceremony and reception, we encourage you to freshen up at the hotel or find local activities until the cocktail hour at The Milestone.

Question

Can we bring our children?

Answer

Due to capacity limits at our ceremony and reception venues, the only children at our wedding are those in the wedding party and close family. Take this moment to let your hair down and enjoy the night with us!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to capacity restraints at our ceremony and reception venue, unless indicated on your invitation, we will not be able to accommodate additional plus ones. If you desire to bring a guest that was not originally on the invitation, please contact Michele or Nikko so that we can discuss this further.

Question

What gifts can we bring?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is very much appreciated and the only gift that we need. However, if you desire to give a gift, we would be grateful for a small donation towards our new future and honeymoon. We greatly appreciate your generosity. The registry will be used for wedding shower gifts only.

Question

What is your wedding hashtag?

Answer

#SignedSealedSalgado Please use this hashtag to tag us on social media, so we can look back on the special occasion! :)
