FAQs

The Wedding Website of Michele Bocchinfuso and C.J. Clarizio
To make planning easy, we’ve answered a few of the most common questions about our big day below. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The doors to the venue will open to guests at 4:00 p.m. Guests may arrive up to 30 minutes before the ceremony begins promptly at 4:30 p.m.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our dress code falls between cocktail and semi-formal. Dress shirts, polos, and slacks are perfect, as are dresses, jumpsuits, or coordinated separates. Ties and jackets are optional, but we ask that guests avoid jeans or casual clothing. Many have asked, so we’ll share that our wedding colors are blues, purples, ivory, and gold. But, we don’t mind what colors you choose to wear.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we’ve chosen to make our wedding an adults-only celebration, with the exception of the children in our bridal party. We hope you’re able to relax and enjoy the evening with us!

Question

Are the ceremony and reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception are planned to be outdoors to take in the beautiful Arizona scenery. We’ll make every effort to celebrate under the open sky, but if the weather doesn’t cooperate, everything can be comfortably moved indoors.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes! A shuttle will run between the hotel and the venue before and after the wedding. See our travel page for more information.

Question

Will parking be available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, free parking is available onsite.

Question

What will be served for dinner?

Answer

Guests will have a choice of Top Sirloin, Chicken Breast, or Seasoned & Baked Vegetables (vegan/vegetarian option). Dinner includes Red Roasted Potatoes, Salad, and Warm Bread, with Ranch or Balsamic dressing available. For those with dietary needs, the steak and grilled vegetables are both gluten-free and dairy-free. Seasonings include salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder, and Lawry’s. Potatoes are prepared with olive oil and the same seasonings. Please note that the dinner rolls are not gluten-free.

Question

Do you have a vegetarian/vegan option?

Answer

Yes—please note any allergies or dietary needs when you RSVP.

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

We’ll be hosting the open bar until a set limit is reached, then switch to a cash bar for the rest of the night. So grab a drink, hit the dance floor, and help us toast to forever!

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Your invitation will specify if you have a plus one. We’d love to celebrate with everyone, but we’re keeping the guest list limited to fit our venue and plans.

Question

What’s the weather like in October?

Answer

Expect warm days (mid-80s) and cooler evenings (mid-60s). We recommend layers for comfort.

Question

Any travel tips for the desert?

Answer

Bring sunscreen, stay hydrated, and wear comfortable shoes if exploring before or after the wedding! Drink more water than you think you need!

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Our registry can be found on the Registry page — thank you so much for thinking of us!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Please visit our Travel page for details on our reserved hotel block. We recommend staying there for convenience, as a shuttle will be provided to and from the venue. Be sure to use our booking link to receive the discounted group rate.
