The Jersey Shore
There truly is no better place in the summer than the Jersey Shore. Only a short drive or train ride to the best beaches in the WORLD (yes I'm being serious). Some of our favorite beach towns are Asbury Park (hipster city on the beach with a great boardwalk, amazing restaurants, awesome downtown, and a great nightlife), Sea Girt (Michayla's hometown. Definitely more of a relaxing beach but in my opinion the most beautiful. Be SURE to go to The Parker House, either straight off the beach for beers and the raw bar, or at night to dance to all the Bruce songs in God's Basement), If you're looking for some serious nightlife and more of a "party beach" Manasquan & Belmar (The Salty Whale, Leggetts, Osprey, Bar Anticipation, Joe's Surf Shack) Spring Lake (gorgeous historic downtown and stunning beach) Best Restaurants on the Jersey Shore (Monmouth County): Rum Runner Porta The Parker House Marina Grille Avenue The Asbury Hotel Rooftop (bar) Jack Baker's Patio Bar Beach Tavern
