Our story began at a celebration hosted at my brother Larry’s home for our cousin Sambee as she prepared to leave for school to pursue her doctorate. Neither of us knew it then, but that day would mark the beginning of a beautiful journey together. The food became our unexpected icebreaker. Michael was determined to find out who had prepared the meal especially the meatballs he couldn't stop talking about. Once Sambee introduced us, the conversation flowed effortlessly. What started as a simple introduction quickly turned into hours of laughter, stories, and genuine connection. The very next day, we met at Five Guys to continue our conversation, and from that moment on, everything felt easy. Our first official date included a trip to the movies, followed by a spontaneous evening at a bar where we met a magician performing tricks and a bartender named Pauline who made the night even more memorable. We laughed endlessly, talked for hours, and discovered a connection neither of us expected but both of us cherished. As days turned into months and months turned into years , our friendship blossomed into something truly special. We became best friends first sharing life's simple joys, supporting one another through challenges, and creating memories that brought us closer together. We learned that our differences complemented each other perfectly, while our shared values, faith, love for family, and commitment to one another created a foundation strong enough to build a lifetime upon. Before long, we realized we couldn't imagine our life without each other. What began as a chance meeting grew into a love story rooted in friendship, trust, laughter, and unwavering support. Together, we chose to build a future centered on love, purpose, and commitment, with our faith in God serving as the foundation of our relationship and guiding us every step of the way. Then came the moment that changed everything Michael proposed, and with joyful hearts, we said "yes" to forever.
