Manuel Antonio National Park
Costa Rica is home to about 5% of the planet’s biodiversity, and Manuel Antonio National Park is one of the best places to experience it up close — white-sand beaches, monkeys, sloths, toucans, and stunning trails all in one spot. It’s totally worth it! 🎟️ Tickets must be purchased online in advance: Adults (non-residents, 13+): $18.08 Children (non-residents, 2–12): $5.65 💡Tip: Bring sunscreen, water, and mosquito repellent with you. Surf Lessons

Nauyaca Waterfalls
Tucked into the lush mountains near Dominical, Nauyaca Waterfalls is one of Costa Rica’s most beautiful hidden gems — two massive cascades surrounded by jungle, perfect for swimming, hiking, or even horseback riding. Vista Los Sueños Adventure Park
Herradura, 5–10 minutes from Los Sueños Looking for an adrenaline rush close to the resort? Vista Los Sueños offers zipline canopy tours, ATV rides through rainforest trails, and horseback rides to a waterfall — all in one beautiful setting. The staff is professional and used to working with both thrill-seekers and first-timers, so it's a great choice for couples, friends, or families. 🎟️ Book online or at the welcome center. 💡 Tip: Wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting a little muddy!

Costa Rica’s Pacific Coast is famous for world-class sportfishing — and Jacó/Herradura is one of the best launch points. 🚤 Most charters leave from Los Sueños Marina, just minutes from the wedding venue. Massages at Caletas Serenity Spa
Looking for some pre- or post-wedding relaxation? Treat yourself to a massage at Caletas, a peaceful escape tucked between jungle and ocean. It’s the kind of place where time slows down and stress melts away. ✨ Fun fact: It was Amy (Michael’s sister) who first discovered just how amazing the massages are here — and now it’s a favorite!
La Fortuna
If you’re staying in Costa Rica a little longer, consider heading to La Fortuna, home of the iconic Arenal Volcano. It’s a lush, mountainous region known for its natural hot springs, waterfalls, hanging bridges, and rainforest views — a totally different (and magical) side of the country. 🧖♀️ You can soak in volcanic thermal springs, explore jungle trails, or just relax and enjoy the views with a cocktail in hand. ✨ Fun fact: Speaking of sisters… La Fortuna is Sofía’s sister’s favorite place in all of Costa Rica! 📍Approx. 3.5–4 hours from Los Sueños — best done as a one or two-night trip. 💡Tip: If you're planning to go, let us know — we’re happy to share hotel and hot spring recs!
