Formal attire. We suggest a preferably colorful cocktail dress or a nice pantsuit for ladies and a suit for gentlemen.

Do I need a visa to enter Turkey?

Answer

For US passport holders, a visa is not required for stays less than 90 days but your passport needs to be valid for six months beyond the date of entry. For others, please double-check your entry requirements.

Will this be a traditional Persian wedding?

Answer

Yes, there will be a lot Persian elements. The bride and groom will enter and sit behind the sofreh ahgd, the wedding table. The sofreh ahgd is adorned with many symbolic objects representing happiness, prosperity, and fertility in their new life together. An example is shown in the picture above. Also, do not be surprised if the bride does not say "I do" right away.
