Travel and Lodging

There are a number of flight and lodging options to get to Water's Edge. The closest airport to the resort is Bradley International Airport in Hartford, Connecticut (approximately an hour drive from Water's Edge), but LaGuardia and JFK airports in NYC will also work (approximately an hour and 45 minute drive from Water's Edge). We recommend arriving early Friday evening or early Saturday morning to ensure you beat the holiday traffic and have time to settle in and relax! We have a block of rooms reserved at Water's Edge, which is where the welcome reception, cocktail hour, wedding reception, and after-party will be held. For reservations please call the front desk and mention our names, you will not be able to book online. There are also a number of Bed & Breakfast and Airbnb options in the area, and we have included a few suggestions. If you stay at an Airbnb we recommend staying in Westbrook, Connecticut.

This is where all of the weekend's festivities will be held. We have reserved a room block here for our guests. For booking please call the front desk, and mention our names; you will not be able to book under our room block online. We recommend staying here for the most convenient and enjoyable weekend experience! Water's Edge overlooks the Long Island Sound and has has a number of amenities that its guests will be able to take advantage of, including access to a pool, beach, and restaurants, as well as a 20% discount the Spa.
