Hotel
We are excited to spend our wedding weekend with you at voco Chicago! The property, long recognized as The Holiday Inn, underwent a complete renovation (Fall 2022) that transformed a portion of the existing building to voco Hotel, IHG's newest upscale brand. Our wedding block at voco Chicago provides discounted rates for both Friday and/or Saturday (rate can be extended to contiguous nights upon request). Select the "View" button below to book a Voco room through our wedding block online. If booking over the phone, be sure to mention the Reilly/Burton Wedding. Please reach out with any questions! We want to make sure our guests are comfortable and accommodated for the weekend!
Hotel
Our reception venue is a dual-branded hotel, offering both voco and Holiday Inn accommodations. The Holiday Inn is located in the same building as voco, with same entrance, lobby and elevators to guest's rooms (just located on separate floors with slightly varying room amenities and renovations). We have an additional wedding block reserved at The Holiday Inn, providing discounted rates for both Friday and/or Saturday (rate can be extended to contiguous nights upon request). Select the "View" button below to book a Holiday Inn room through our wedding block online. Again, please reach out with any questions!
Travel Note
Chicago has started their $150 million construction project on the Kennedy Expressway, which is causing significant delays entering the city from O’Hare or the Northwest Suburbs. Keep this in mind when planning travel. Using the blue line (from O’Hare) or Metra (from suburbs) might be a more convenient mode of transportation.
Flight
One of two major airports in Chicago. If staying in the city, we do not recommend renting a car. Instead, for transportation from the airport, we suggest Uber/Lyft/Taxi or the Blue Line to Clark/Lake (7 min walk to Voco). With the Blue line, you could also transfer at Clark/Lake to the Purple or Brown line and take that to the Merchandise Mart stop (5 min walk to Voco).
Flight
One of two major airports in Chicago (and our favorite). If staying in the city, we do not recommend renting a car. Instead, for transportation from the airport, we suggest Uber/Lyft/Taxi. There is an option to take CTA as well (Orange Line to Clark/Lake), but we find car more convenient than train from this airport (there is a decent walk to navigate to the Midway Orange Line).
Travel Note
If you are local and have a car that requires parking, Old St. Patrick's Church does have it's own free garage located at 625 W. Adams.
Travel Note
If local, we recommend using SpotHero to find a parking spot for your car near voco Chicago. The hotel does not have its own parking garage.
