Bring cash for tips. The travel industry in The Dominican Republic is a huge part of their economy. If you smile and tip - even small amounts the staff go above and beyond to support you. The groups of people are very close and talk. If you tip well others will find you and try to spoil you! * 1$ per drink is a kind way to have a pampered experience. * 5$ for service at a sit down dinner for a pampered experience. * 5$ for luggage handlers. * 5$ for maid service.

Spa Experiences - These cost extra. You can charge to your room. Private Dinners - These are romantic dinners set up in various locations including the beach. Excursions - Taking trips and doing activities off-site are extra. Transfer to and from the hotel (airport) - You can preschedule your rides. - Rides can be private or grouped.

How long do I stay?

I believe the hotel has a four night minimum. Stay as long as you like!

Can I drink the water

All water served in restaurants and bars is filtered. You can drink it. You have 24 hour access to ice machines with filtered water and bottled water in refrigerators.

Is a pharmacy on site?

There is a pharmacy but it is expensive! Bring your own medications and basics. Sunscreen is very expensive!

Do I have to pay for cabanas?

No, cabanas and all beach chairs are first come first serve. Many people will save their chair with the provided towels on their way to breakfast.
