Albany-Rensselaer Rail Station (ALB)

This is the best train station to travel to from the NYC area via Amtrak. A bonus is the great views of the Hudson River during the ride!

Taking the Bus

If you're planning to take the bus from NYC or Boston, Greyhound and Peter Pan operate out of the Albany New York Bus Station at 34 Hamilton St, Albany, NY 12207. Megabus primarily operates out of the Albany-Rensselaer Rail Station at 525 East Street, Rensselaer, NY 12144. Unfortunately Bolt Bus has not made it to Albany yet.

The Carey Institute for Global Good

All guests who requested rooms at the Carey Institute DO have rooms! The Carey Institute is an estate that will be our secluded retreat for the weekend. All wedding events will take place on the estate and the property has four houses in which the majority of guests can stay if they would like. Guests will directly pay the Carey Institute upon check-in/checkout like a traditional hotel.

In case of overflow from the Carey Institute, or, if you would prefer to stay in Albany, we have reserved a block of rooms at the Fairfield Inn by Marriott Albany University Area. Mention the Zisman-Gallo wedding when booking for a discounted rate!

There are a number of Airbnbs in the Rensselaerville area. In case of overflow from the Carey Institute, or, if you would prefer to create your own retreat, Airbnb is a good option.
