Maid of Honor
We met in first grade when she asked to borrow my already borrowed mechanical pencil. It was red, blue and floral. I was reluctant to give it up as I knew it wasn't mine. She promised to give it back. She never did. And I never let it go. 21 years later this mechanical pencil started our dynamic as best friends forever. Allie is the best friend anyone would want and need! She's honest, supportive, selfless, bougie, smart, beautiful and best of all we can laugh for hours without reason. She added so much value to my life growing up. She taught me power in my female voice. We can go days without talking-- when we reunite its as if we're children again. She's my ace boon-coon, my homie G co-whoadie. She gets me, I get her, I couldn't imagine life without my Allie. Everyone needs an Allie.
Maid of Honor
Leslie is pretty much my surrogate Colombian sister. We met dancing in middle school & haven't stopped since! I was immediately drawn to Leslie's individualistic personality; feeling warm, comfortable & seen. She's a creative who has a knack for learning, travel, & making others feel good. I Honestly don't know a person that doesn't LOVE them some Leslie Polster! She is one of a kind, & hilarious! I will never forget the first time I met her. I walked into dance class. She was sitting in the instructor's chair writing on post- it notes. We were early so there was no one else in the studio. I asked, "what're you writing?" I noticed she was writing out the alphabet. She quickly responded, "I'm practicing my handwriting. I just hate messy handwriting. Don't you?!" Her boldness-- irresistable.
